The CL2 is an input cable that will allow you to connect self powered microphones, such as Sennhieser K6/ME66 (with AA battery), Rode NTG2 microphone to the Sennheiser EW112P series radio microphones.
This effectively turns the stick microphone into a radio microphone removing the need for cables.
