The carbon fiber legs are corrosion resistant, lightweight, and sturdy with a good deal of torsional stability, keeping them stable even as you pan and tilt. The mid-level spreader allows you to use the tripod legs on smooth and uneven surfaces such as beaches, rocky terrain, or stairs. The included removable rubber feet cover the dual leg spikes, so you can use the tripod on soft exteriors or hard/delicate surfaces.
