RigWheels RigMount XL Camera Mounting Platform with Tripod Head Adapter Kit

Use the RigMount XL Camera Mounting Platform with Tripod Head Adapter Kit from RigWheels to mount your camera on the metal or glass side of a car, boat, or moving vehicle. The mount consists of two RigPlate cheese-style platforms, sixteen magnetic mounts, eight A-Cup suction mounts, six rig-mounting axles, 75 and 100mm tripod bowl head adapters, a flat adapter, four 3" stand offs (riser rods), four 6" stand offs, and all required connection hardware. The durable metal platform provides stability and weight distribution for large-format cameras, and the provided components are designed to mount on the side of a car or moving vehicle.

At the center of the mount are two versatile RigPlates, each providing ten 1/4"-20 and five 3/8"-16 threaded holes in addition to four 5/16" and five 3/8" pass-through holes for mounting your camera and accessories. The six axles connect to the plates with thumbscrews and can be adjusted in any configuration to balance your camera. The sixteen magnets and eight suction mounts can be used separately or intermixed to create a solid connection with the metal surface. The magnets have a thin rubber coating to protect the surface and provide up to 50 lb of vertical pull resistance for a secure bond.

This version of the XL mount includes 75 and 100mm tripod bowl head adapters and sets of 3 and 6" stand offs to raise the bowl head above the RigPlate to facilitate balancing. A flat adapter is also included to provide additional support.

Since the mounting kit components are modular they can be used in various ways such as a hi-hat mount configuration, or more components can be purchased such as additional magnets for attaching to a glass surface, wheels, and dolly rails. All the hardware required for attaching the mount components is included.
