The 6.3′ PortaRail Traveler Kit from RigWheels includes eight 19" sections and six threaded connectors in a soft case. The 19" sections can be screwed together via the connectors to form two 6.3' long rails for the PortaRail collapsible dolly/slider rail system (not included). The soft case allows for easy storage and transport, protecting the rails from damage.
These rails are constructed from 6061 aluminum for rigidity and provide precision camera movement. The included 19" sections are interchangeable with the larger 40" PortaRail systems, for longer rails. At 80", the camera slider rails have less than 1/8" of flexibility with a 40 lb load placed at the center. These rods can also be used with other suspended or ground rail systems that work with an outer diameter of 1.65".
