The PortaRail Camera Slider Rail Kit from RigWheels includes four 40" sections and two threaded connectors. The 40" sections can be screwed together via the connectors to form two 80" long rails for the PortaRail collapsible dolly/slider rail system (not included). Though the 80" (per side) length is typical for most setups, you can also add multiple sections for longer shots.
These rails are constructed from 6061 aluminum for rigidity and provide precision camera movement. At 80" the camera slider rails have less than 1/8" of flex with a 40 lb load placed at the center. These rods can also be used with other suspended or ground-rail systems that work with an outer diameter of 1.65" (41.9mm). All parts are made in USA.
