Two-Thirds Shorter and Half the Weight of Conventional Macro Lenses
While macro lenses tend to be quite large, Panasonic has used its unique technologies to successfully reduce overall size. Compared to conventional macro lenses, the LUMIX S 100mm F2.8 MACRO is approximately two thirds shorter and half the weight. Weighing a total of just 1kg when combined with the LUMIX S5II, the compact, lightweight system can be used with one hand.

Efficient Workflow Thanks to Unified Design
LUMIX S 100mm F2.8 MACRO lens has the same size, filter size, and operability as the LUMIX S F1.8 fixed focal length lens series. The centre of gravity is aligned closely, allowing for smooth lens changes when shooting video using a gimbal or drone. In addition, the image rendering performance is also identical, allowing smooth post-production.
