The 12mm f/2.0 M12 3MP Lens for Select Marshall Cameras features an M12 lens mount, which is used on select board level, POV, and lipstick cameras. Marshall has released this lens, which supports 3MP of resolution, making it more than sharp enough for HD sensors. This fixed lens mounts on any of the following Marshall cameras—CV502, CV505, CV565, CV225, and V-1292—and has nearly infinite depth of field and a fixed f/1.8 lens speed.
- This lens holds focus from near contact to infinity, and does not have a focusing mechanism
- Lenses with an M12 do not incorporate an actual iris, but rather uses the optical design to provide an effective lens speed of f/1.8
- The lens does not incorporate an IR cut filter
