The KUPO 3 Sct. Wind-Up Stand is a reliable and sturdy solution for photographers and videographers who need to support heavy lights and diffusers.
With an impressive load capacity of up to 30kg, this 3-section stand features a convenient crank handle that makes it effortless to raise and lower your equipment. For added safety, the handle is equipped with a self-locking mechanism that prevents accidental drops. You can easily adjust the stand's height with a single clockwise revolution, which raises it by 44mm, or a counter-clockwise revolution, which lowers it by the same amount.
Features the triple function universal combo head withboth 1/8" (28mm) and 5/8" (16mm) receivers plus a multi-direction 5/8" (16mm) stud giving you great versatility when it comes to mounting options. The levelling leg also allows you to compensate for inclines or uneven surfaces. Additionally, it comes equipped with a skid-proof foot-step located on the main section of its base to allow the user to stand upon it to reach the top risers and head to make adjustments if necessary.
Optional casters set (KC-100) is available for easily moving the stand while doing working in the studio.
- Lock Position - The safety pin will insert automatically into the hole in the tube when the wind-up engages.
- Unlock Position - The inside spring will bring the safety pin back.
- The stand top is mounted by a steel bolt through the top tube that insures sturdy and solid assembly.
- The crank handle folds back for travel. It also can be placed in between tripod legs to prevent the risers from falling accidentally if the lock is unexpectedly disengaged.
- The tension of the brake shoe can be adjusted with an Allen wrench.
- Velcro is supplied for better cable management.
- Top section tube can be adjusted by stepping on the foot step.
- By using the leveling leg the stand can be quickly leveled on uneven terrain.
- Bright color warning sticker for safety operation.
- Casters are optional for easily moving the stand. The stand foot is rugged zinc-casting. Dia.: 100mm with brake and M10 attachment. There are three in a set. (KC-100).
- 483-BP Base Plate Optional accessory to be used when the stand has to be secured to the floor for safety reasons. Compatible with stand models: 481, 482T, 483T and 470. (set of three)
