S2 4K Video Encoder
S2 is an UHD 4K video encoder which is designed to meet the needs of all 4K video transmission applications. The input resolutions is up to 4Kp60 and encoding resolutions is up to 4Kp30. It supports H.265 (HEVC)/H.264 high-performance encoding. Also, it supports the most protocols including NDI|HX/SRT/RTMP/RTMPS/HLS/UDP/RTSP/Onvif, etc.

Adopt H.265 to save over 50% bandwidth
With H.265 HEVC encoding, S2 realizes lower encoding bitrate and save more than 50% bandwidth with same image quality comparing with H.264. (Typical encoding bitrate: H.265: 4KP30@4Mbps，H.264: 4KP30@8Mbps)

4K transmission to ensure better image quality
With HDMI 2.0 input, S2 supports real 4Kp60 HDMI input and encodes up to 4Kp30. Besides, it is compatible with SD/HD/VESA resolution etc., to meet your needs for a high-quality image.

More Protocols Supported
S2 supports RTSP/RTMP/RTMPS/HLS/TS-UDP/Onvif1.1/2.0/ and NDI|HX, so users can live stream with RTMP/RTMPS, live production with NDI|HX and remote production with SRT, all can be handled at the same time with one device.

Audio & Intercom
Both embedded and 3.5mm analog line in audio supported.
Together with Kiloview intercom software, S2 can support intercom functions for better communication.

Support multiple audio channels
Supports adding, deleting, modifying, and setting different encoding formats of audio channels, up to 4 audio channels can be set.

Real-time monitoring and preview of the video
The newly-designed Web UI works perfect to preview the video source in real-time, allowing you to monitor the video status at any time.

Live streaming to 16 platforms simultaneously
Dual stream output (main stream and sub stream) , each stream can be sent to 8 platforms with the same or different protocols, altogether S2 can simultaneously live stream to 16 streaming platforms. Main stream resolution up to 4KP30Hz, sub stream resolution up to 1080P60.

It's a Recorder!
S2 features with either by USB for local recording or NAS recording, storage and playback for video while streaming.

Image and text overlay, wherever you like
You can overlay LOGO/text/pictures to any position of the screen. At the same time, professional operations such as rotation/cropping, mirroring, sound column display, safety frame, center line, and 0~255 super wide range color adjustment are also available.

Powered by PoE & DC 12V
S2 is easy to use since it can be powered by PoE and DC 12 V. One ethernet cable can supply power and transmit signals at a time.
