Full-Functional NDI&NDI|HX Converter
Kiloview N50 is a full-functional NDI converter that uses the leading FPGA technologies, advanced-level AVC/HEVC algorithm, and NDI algorithm. It supports encoding/decoding within one unit which meets all your demands regarding IP-based video transmission.
N50 supports 12G-SDI format encoding/decoding of both NDI High-bandwidth and NDI|HX2/3 by H.264/H.265.
Encoding & Decoding with Ultra-low Latency
In the encoding mode, the N50 easily converts a 4K 12G-SDI video signal into an NDI and NDI|HX stream.
While in decoding mode, it will automatically adapt the NDI and NDI|HX format as your end needs.
N50 handles your NDI transmission easily with low latency of less than 80ms.
Pro-level Color Performance
N50 supports a professional YCbCr 4:2:2 color space and a 10-bit color depth (the common 8-bit color depth is also available).
N50 provides higher color and image quality to match the high standard in the broadcast and medical industries.
Built-in LCD Screen and Scroll Wheel
As a 12G-SDI version of Kiloview N60, the N50 cares about user experiences the same way.
The N50 is equipped with a big color LCD screen for users to check the unit parameters anytime, anywhere. It can also be used as a big tally and works in conjunction with the small tally on the back panel, making it easy for all personnel in the field to check the PVW or PGM status in real-time.
The scroll wheel enables users to customize settings, switch on/off, set quick shortcuts, and control all video sources with preeminent ease.
Audio and Intercom
N50 supports 12G-SDI embedded audio and 3.5mm analog audio encoding/decoding.
It supports an extended USB audio interface (e.g., USB headset), to realize an end-to-end real-time intercom among the Kiloview devices operators and the associated Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) group.
PTZ Control
N50 supports PTZ control through USB to serial RS-232/RS-485/RS-422.
It also adopts network control protocols (such as Sony Visca/PELCO-D/PELCO-P) for external PTZ control.
Power Supply: PoE and DC
N50 has 2 interfaces of Ethernet, one of which supports the PoE（IEEE 802.3AT）power supply.
Just plug in a network cable, and you can easily access both the power supply and network transmission.
It also supports DC 12V power supply and can easily power the device with a portable charger or camera battery.
TF Storage
N50 offers a TF storage extension that eases your recording of encoding NDI video directly into a TF card (local recording supports MOV. format).
TF storage prevents your recording process from losing video frames caused by network delay, network interruption, or fluctuation.
