This P120-G Godox Honeycomb Grid is designed for use with the QR-P120 Parabolic softbox, enabling you to restrict the spread of light, producing images with more contrast. It also prevents light from spilling onto areas of your set that you don’t want the light to hit, such as on your background, etc. It also reduces the likelihood of getting lens flare if the light is pointed toward the camera. The P120-G Honeycomb Grid is ideal for commercial, fashion, beauty, food, product, and portrait photography ideal for the travelling mobile on-location photographer. Also great for Cinematographers and Independent filmmakers.
P120-G Godox Honeycomb Grid To Control Light Spread
This P120-G Godox Honeycomb Grid (sometimes known as an Egg-Crate) attaches the inner rim of your QR-P120 parabolic softbox using a hook and loop fastening system. It is used to restrict the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas of the set where you don’t want the light to fall, such as in the background when you are shooting a low-key image.
Reduces the Likelihood of Lens Flare
This Godox Honeycomb Grid can also be used to reduce the likelihood of getting lens flare in your image if your softbox is pointed toward the camera (note: will not prevent lens flare if the light source is pointed directly at the camera).
