Fomex FL-600 1’x1’ Flexible LED Light Mat Ready-To-Shoot Kit - '3-Stud' Battery Plate

A Truly Flexible LED Light.

Unlike existing flexible LED technology, Fomex is the first to offer it in a strictly professional package that covers a spectrum of users from feature film rentals through television broadcasters, wedding videographers, still photographers and beyond.

Fomex Flexible LED mats are offered in two lightweight models; the FL-600 (1'x1') which weighs 280g and the FL-1200 (2'x1') which weighs-in at 560g. Both sizes provide unrivalled 360° pliability, allowing operators to shape them for use in the most confined and obscure spaces.

Combining low weight, thin design and physical flexibility into an LED lighting fixture permits previously impossible mounting, positioning and operation.

As an example, the mats can be adhered directly to walls, windows or virtually any surface or positioned overhead on the end of the optional boom pole.

The included 'X-Mount' also allows the mats to operate like a fully-rigid lighting fixture, incorporating a 16mm female spigot enabling attachment to a light stand or other lighting grip.

Weather Protected.

For ultimate practicality, the FL-600 light mat has been designed for all-weather use, resulting in an IP64 rain and dust protection rating.

This makes the light equally at home in a studio or anywhere on location regardless of weather and environmental conditions.

Also, as the mats are resilient to water, they can simply be wiped clean when required.

Ultimate Control.

With a colour temperature range of 3200°K to 5600°K and precise dimming from 0 to 100%, the FL-600 is as flexible in operation as it is in form.

These settings are controlled with the simple and intuitive lighting controller. Its backlit LCD panel displays the current colour temperature and brightness values, which are adjusted with the dials on either side. To avoid accidental adjustment or damage, these dials are protected with metal surrounds.

Located on the controller's rear side is a '3-Stud' battery plate for powering the light on-location.

Accurate & Powerful.

The FL-600's impressive physical characteristics are backed-up by equally-notable photometric data. Colour rendering test results of CRI 96 and TLCI 98 ensure the light output virtually mimics that of natural light sources.

Despite its slight nature, the FL-600 can match traditional 1'x1' panels for power, delivering a light output of 1600 LUX at 1 meter.

Ready-to-Shoot.

For absolute simplicity, Fomex offer a single, ready-to-shoot kit which is professionally presented in a bespoke carry bag. The FL-600-KIT includes everything necessary to get shooting including the LED mat, X-Mount, controller, AC power supply, UK IEC cable and 5m controller extension cable.

Optional accessories include a magnetic softbox, 4-leaf barndoors, 3-section boom pole and mounting cheesplate with 1/4" & 3/8" threads.
