The S-MIC 2 Shotgun Microphone from Deity Microphones features a supercardioid polar pattern, a low-noise floor, and an all-brass body with a gold-coated PCB (printed circuit board). It can be used to capture audio for video and interview applications.
The PCB is sprayed and coated with a clear epoxy to perform without issues even in the most humid environments. This coating gives the microphone a water resistance level that allows it to work in the rain without being damaged. The microphone is powered with 24 or 48V phantom power and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR output connector.
Additionally, a foam windscreen, a microphone stand clip with a threaded 3/8" female mount, and a waterproof hardcase with custom cut-foam insert is included.
