The most versatile Mantis kit, supports cameras from 5 – 70 lbs* (must use the appropriate band for your cameras weight) *5-38 lbs on one Mantis, 15-70 lbs using two in tandem.
Quad Tube - Most Popular!
The Quad Tube configuration adds an additional circuit of elastic which increases your boom range and sweet spot and improves vertical stabilization. This configuration is great for the Easy Rig or mounting to speedrail. The Quad tube is the ultimate configuration for performance and versatility. A Quad tube can easily be configured into a Dual Tube, just add some extra 6 ft elastics to your order.
Easy Rig Adapter
Mount one or two Mantis units to any model of Easy Rig. Our adapter provides two steel pins that the Mantis interfaces with. There is no modification required to your Easy rig, simply attach our clamp in front or behind of the stock Easy Rig string. Use the optional Mini Max adapters to reduce the clamp size. Compatibility: Easy Rig Cinema, Vario, Stabile, Mini Max, Mini Max Stabile.
Speedrail Adapter
Mount one or two Mantis units to the end of any standard speedrail size. 1 1/4″ (USA) & 1 1/2″ (EURO) Compatible thanks to our removable inner sleeve. A 1″ on centre hole spacing at the bottom of the adapter allows you to mount to standard cheese plate. Use a long cheeseplate to rig to a dolly or truss.
Maglock Hook Kit
Self locking hook kit for Mantis. Securely attach to your camera to your Mantis. The hook spuds can mount to the side of your camera’s top handle or to the Universal Hook Adapter.
Universal Hook Adapter
Left/Right adjustable adapter compatible with our Mag lock hooks. Mount the Universal hook adapter to your camera’s top handle to interface with mag lock hooks. Easily adjust your left and right camera balance.
Gimbal Ring Adapters
Adapt a gimbal ring (25mm or 30mm) to our gimbal hooks.
How long does it take to swap elastics?
Elastics can be swapped in about 2 minutes, less once you get the hang of it!
Can I use a Quad Tube with a WK Slingshot?
Yes! You can use any Mantis on a Slingshot, the long tubes were just designed to match the length of the Slingshot arms.
How long do the elastics last?
We’re anticipating 6 months of consistent usage and we recommend changing the elastics yearly. Make sure to inspect your bands often.
Are there different bands for the Easy Rig quick release retrofit kit?
Yes, you’ll see an option when purchasing bands to have them setup for the Easy Rig QR kit. Those bands will come with a factory installed connector that interfaces with the Easy Rig QR kit.
How is the Mantis packaged?
The Mantis will come in a box with a laser cut foam insert and lid foam designed for the Pelican Air 1555. Anything that does not fit in the case i.e. lots of extra elastics will ship separately.
What is the difference between a Dual Tube and a Quad Tube?
The Quad tube takes advantage of a longer amount of elastic giving you increased boom range and a larger sweet spot. It is slightly wider and heavier than the Dual Tube. You can always convert a Quad Tube into a Dual Tube, just make sure to order some 6 ft elastics or you’ll have a lot of extra elastic slack hanging out. You can also convert two Dual Tubes into a single Quad Tube with the purchase of an “Extra return roller” and 8 ft elastics.

  • 1x Easy Rig adapter to mount one (or two) Mantis units to a single Easy Rig.
  • 1x Speedrail adapter for 1 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ speedrail. Mount one or two units to a single piece of pipe. The threaded bottom of the adapter also accepts standard cheese plate 1″ on center.
  • 2 x Mag Lock hook and mounting spuds. The mag lock hook auto locks when you attach your hook to provide a secure connection while easily being able to tilt. Use the included single use hand sanitizer to help press thicker rubber into the hook.
  • 2 x Gimbal ring adapters for 25mm and 30mm gimbal rings (compatible with Mag lock hooks)
  • 1 x Universal hook adapter, mounts to your camera’s top handle (3/8 16 or 1/4 20) and allows you to adjust your balance left and right.
