AX1 is a powerful pixel controllable LED RGBW baton that can be mounted at event and film sites to light up people and objects or create indirect lighting effects. A highly creative device that offers an infinite range of possibilities.

Mounting Accessories

  • TubeStand - Tripod with m5 thread to set-up your tube vertically. Can be folded for storage. Compatible with Titan Tube, Helios Tube, AX1 PixelTube.
  • TubeHolder - Essential grip to mount tubes. Connect Astera's Babypin to the ackside 1/4"-20 thread to insert it into SuperClamps and Gobo Heads. Comes with pin to keep it securely locked.
  • EyeBolt - EyeBolt with M5 thread that works with Astera's tubes, and a wide range of other Astera products. Also used as safety mounting point for tubes.
  • WingPlate - Mounting plate to attach a tube to a single mounting point. Also used to connect 2 tubes to form a line, triangle, square etc. Front side of WingPlate takes 2 TubeHolders (included with each tube), backside has a 1/4"-20 thread for Astera's BabyPin.
  • Crossplate - Up to four WingPlates can be attached in parallel to one CrossPlate to create a 4bank or panel effect. A BabyPin is welded to the CrossPlate's backside for a reliable grip.


How To Control

  • App Control - AsteraApp offers intuitive and fast control of complex lighting setups and is also used for preparation and monitoring of our lights.
  • Wireless DMX - All Astera lights contain a wireless DMX module by LumenRadio, enabling them to be controlled by CRMX and W-DMX transmitters alongside other wireless fixtures. The AsteraBox has built-in CRMX and can be used to transmit DMX data to your lights.
  • Seamless Runtime - To ensure that your light’s batteries last throughout your entire production, you can select how many hours they have to last. This limits the light’s output to a level where you get the maximum brightness to achieve the selected runtime.
  • Anti-Flicker - Via the AsteraApp the PWM frequency of the LEDs can be adjusted to ensure that there is no interference with standard cameras. In addition, the light has a green/magenta balance to minimize post-production work.
  • Emergency Light - With this innovative feature, the lights can double as a battery-powered emergency light. When activated, the fixture can detect power loss and instantly switches to bright white light to illuminate the venue.
  • Anti-Theft - When enabled, the integrated theft alarm gives visual and audible alarm if lights are being moved. In addition, the AsteraApp also shows the alarm.
  • Talkback+ - Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.
  • Effects - Quickly build programs out of colors and effects, trigger them or make them match a beat.
